The Family Pools at Polynesian Spa offer the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing day out, catering to guests of all ages. Designed with families in mind, this area provides a safe and engaging space where children can splash, play, and enjoy the warm waters while parents unwind in the healing geothermal pools. At the heart of the Family Pools is the large freshwater chlorinated pool, gently heated to 33°C (91°F). With both shallow and deeper sections, it’s suitable for swimmers of all levels. A small hydro slide adds an extra element of excitement, keeping children entertained as they glide into the pool. For those seeking a soothing geothermal soak, the two Rachel Spring alkaline mineral hot pools provide a chance to relax and experience the renowned skin-nourishing benefits of these natural waters. The first pool is kept at 37°C (98°F), offering a mild and comfortable soak, while the second pool is heated to 40°C (104°F) for a deeper level of relaxation. These pools allow parents to unwind and rejuvenate, all while keeping an eye on their little ones. Safety is a priority at Polynesian Spa, and the Family Pools are lifeguard-supervised to provide added peace of mind. However, children under 12 must be accompanied by a caregiver, and those under 8 must be actively supervised by an adult over 16 years old. Infants and children under 5 years enter free of charge but must wear swimming nappies, which are available for purchase on-site. To enhance the experience, the Family Pools area includes well-equipped changing facilities with plenty of space for families. Towels and swimsuits can be hired, and lockers are available for rent, ensuring belongings are stored securely while you enjoy your time in the pools. During peak times, there may be a 30-60 minute wait to enter the pools due to capacity limits.
