Rotorua for kids can be high or low octane, depending on what the children will let you get away with. A number of the family attractions are situate off State Highway 5 heading north of the city. Government Gardens has some lovely park areas. Many Rotorua Attractions are centred around the area's geothermal and Maori history, the reason most people come here.
