Known for its corrugated iron sculptures and quirky dog- and sheep-shaped buildings, Tirau is the perfect 15-minute stop to stretch, refresh, and grab a coffee. From here, continue an hour to Rotorua and step into Te Puia – Rotorua’s iconic geothermal park and cultural centre. Explore Te puia, home to the powerful Pōhutu Geyser, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Marvel at bubbling mud pools, steaming vents, and dramatic landscapes that showcase the earth’s raw energy.
