Starting from the Cruise Ship Terminal at the Port of Tauranga, this tour follows a pre-arranged schedule along the Mount Maunganui Coast. There is a brief stop at a kiwifruit orchard on the way to Rotorua.
The first main stop is the Redwood Forest, where you will spend approximately 1.5 hours experiencing the canopy treewalk among Californian Redwoods and local wildlife.
The second major stop covers around 2 hours at Whakarewarewa Māori Village. Here, you will explore thermal areas with mud pools and the largest geyser in the Southern Hemisphere. The visit includes a guided village tour, a cultural Māori performance (Haka), and a light lunch prepared in traditional Māori style (Hangi).
