The tour departs Auckland by 6:00 AM and includes multiple Rotorua attractions. Start at Wai-O-Tapu Mud Pool, where boiling mud bubbles continuously, formed by geothermal activity beneath the earth’s surface.
Next, watch the Lady Knox Geyser erupt at 10:15 AM. This geyser shoots a column of hot water up to 20 meters high, triggered daily with an environmentally safe surfactant. The viewing amphitheater offers clear sightlines amid native bush and steaming terrain.
Proceed to the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland for a self-guided walk along Track 1.
