After lunch, continue to Te Puia for a 90-minute guided tour of Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, where you will see the active Pōhutu Geyser—the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Then visit the Kiwi Conservation Centre to observe New Zealand’s native bird in a specialized nocturnal enclosure.
