Description
This full-day tour departs from Auckland in a modern, air-conditioned minibus with small groups for a personalized experience. Travel south through the Waikato countryside while your guide shares local legends, stories, and cultural insights.
Explore the Waitomo Glowworm Caves on a guided tour, descending into an underground world of ancient limestone formations. Glide silently by boat beneath thousands of glowworms illuminating the grotto. Photography is not permitted inside to protect the delicate ecosystem.
At Te Puia Geothermal Park, enjoy a 90-minute guided tour of boiling mud pools, steaming vents, and the mighty Pōhutu Geyser, showcasing Rotorua’s volcanic activity. Discover Māori culture with a walk through the National Māori Arts School and spot the rare Kiwi bird.
