Description
The journey covers approximately 3 hours each way through scenic South Auckland and Waikato, with a refreshment stop en route. The total duration is 11 hours.
Departure from Auckland is at 6:30am, arriving in Rotorua around 9:30am to begin the 10am guided tour of Te Puia. The Te Puia tour lasts two hours and showcases New Zealand’s geothermal features.
After the tour, there is an hour allocated for lunch at the onsite café or restaurant, offering New Zealand cuisine.
At 1:30pm, you will start the Red Tree Walk, a 700-metre walkway featuring 28 suspension bridges connecting 27 Redwood trees aged 120 years. The walk takes about 45 minutes and provides elevated views of the forest.
Following the walk, the return trip to Auckland begins, with arrival by approximately 5:30pm. The schedule is flexible to accommodate your preferences.
