Located on Pukuatua Street in central Rotorua, Yamato is a Japanese Restaurant serving a choice of authentic Japanese cuisine.
The Japanese tradition extends to the staff adorned with traditional Japanese clothing. Fresh fish is prepared at the bar counter giving customers a view into the delicate process and the care that's taken preparing dishes.
Yamato seats up to 55 people. A BYO option is available with a small corkage fee. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner service, with a takeaway service also available.
