Wherever you are in New Zealand, you're never far from a good Indian restaurant, and Rotorua is no exception. From quick takeaways to romantic restaurants, Rotorua Indian Restaurants have a surprisingly good selection of Indian cuisine.
Indian Restaurants in Rotorua are one of the more plentiful kinds of cuisine in the city. Takeaways are prominent, and of a good quality. If you prefer to sit in, there are at least twelve establishments that always seem to be packed out. At the top end of Tutanekai Street, between Awara Street and Whakaue Street, is where you'll find the biggest concentration. But it's worth heading down to Pukuatua Street and Eruera Street, where there are some gems that enjoy a little more space and light. If you want to be completely away from the hustle and bustle of Rotorua nightlife while you eat, try Te Ngae Road, heading towards the airport. Prices will be slightly cheaper along here, but you'll need a car.
