Lake Rotokawau

Lake Rotokawau is a small crater lake close to Hell's Gate Thermal Park. To get to the lake, turn off State Highway 30 into Lake Rotokawau Road and follow the road past Hell's Gate untlil the end of the road (past Lakes Ranch).

Once at the end, there is a narrow road with a pathway on the right hand side that leads down to the lake's edge.
