Rotorua Duck Tours offer a different view of Rotorua with a tour that takes in both land and water.
The tours take place in an amphibious Second World War landing craft, the only one of its kind in New Zealand, that takes visitors on a trip around Rotorua and onto its scenic lakes.
Two trips are available. The first concentrates on Rotorua itself and lasts 90 minutes. This tour begins in central Rotorua and then tours the city centre before moving out of town and hitting the water at Lake Tikitapu, also known as Blue Lake and Lake Okereka.
The second tour lasts two hours and takes in central Rotorua before heading out to towards Lake Tarawera to give visitors a glimpse of the stunning volcanic landscape.
All tours are conducted by experienced guides who share the history and stories of the area and are suitable for the whole family.
