This steam-filled experience spans 52 hectares and has historical significance to the local tribes. Visitors will think they’re on another world as they wander around the “lunar surface” observing steam vents, craters and unusual plant life that has adapted to thrive in this hot and steamy environment. We’ve also been compared to a Jurassic landscape.
Craters of the Moon is suited to all ages and fitness levels and is accessible with strong assistance by wheelchair. Prams are also good to use. But to get the most out of your visit bring the front pack too.

Craters of the Moon is open 364 days, closed Christmas day
9:30am - 4:00pm (last entry for the walk)
9:30am - 5:00pm (Gift Shop)

Adults: $10.00 per person
Children: (ages 5 -15): $5.00 per child
