Real Rotorua Nocturnal Adventure Glow Worm Tour

Welcome to Real Rotorua an award winning, nature based small group tour company owned and guided by me, Stephen. For more than ten years, I've been sharing the places I know and love through three very different itineraries that showcase the authentic side of Rotorua. With a maximum of just eight guests, every tour offers a relaxed atmosphere, genuine local insight, and the flexibility that only a small, owner operated business can provide.

Whether you're exploring lakes, walking through native forests and geothermal landscapes, bathing in natural geothermal waters, or discovering the magic of glow worms on our famous Nocturnal Adventure Glow-worm Tour, every experience is designed for travellers who want to get off the beaten path without sacrificing comfort. Our Explore the Lakes Tour, Thermal Path Tour, and Nocturnal Adventure each reveal a different side of Rotorua that larger tour companies simply can't offer.

As an eco-friendly operator, I'm passionate about protecting the places we visit while creating unforgettable experiences. With over 1,000 five-star reviews, recognition as a Tripadvisor Best of the Best experience, and countless returning guests, Real Rotorua offers everything that makes a tour truly memorable personal service, authentic local knowledge, spectacular scenery, and experiences you'll be talking about long after your journey ends.
