The hot pools are accessible only by boat or by air which means this haven remains unspoiled and pristine. Come and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding native flora and fauna, with seven mineral hot pools to soak in and the clear blue lake waters to cool down in.
Moor your boat at one of the jetties, arrive on the Water Taxi, or visit with a tour company. Use the changing rooms provided before choosing the mineral hot pool based on your temperature preference, and slip in to soak away your worries. Then, head down to the lake for an exhilarating dive off the jetty or whizz down the slide into New Zealand’s biggest plunge pool!
Grab a bite to eat at the fully licensed cafe, where you can also purchase wine and beer. Picnics are welcome, with outdoor seating and BBQs available for use.
