Princes Gate Venue
All 50 rooms of the hotel can be booked to accommodate the wedding party and event guests. Each room is tastefully furnished to suit the building while incorporating modern conveniences like SKY TV and Internet access.
The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Rotorua, just minutes from the shopping district, lakefront and Government Gardens.
Monarch Function Venue:
A historical building adjoining the Prince’s Gate Hotel, accessed from Hinemaru Street. The venue offers two function rooms comprising of The Monarch Room and The Library. The Monarch Room is the main room and can accommodate up to 100 people. It's ideal for conferences, training workshops, and other private functions and gatherings. The Library can cater for up to 20 guests, ideal for interviews, small workshops, executive board meetings and other similar functions.
The Nellie Budd Room
The room seats 70 banquet style and depicts the history and charm of the Edwardian era in New Zealand at the turn of the century. The room features high studded Kauri ceilings, chandeliers, air conditioning, natural light all expressed through a lush classic interior. It opens out to the pool, garden bar and facilities.
Dukes Restaurant
Duke’s Bar & Restaurant seats up to 70 people. The interior is traditional with an open fireplace, chandeliers and light filled space. It opens out to the pool, garden bar and facilities.
Arawa Room
This private room is ideal for executive and board meetings, presentations, interviews, confidential business meetings or as a break-out room. The elegant and stylish Arawa Room has excellent lighting, in-built audio visual equipment, air conditioning and, most importantly, is totally private. The room allows for the maximum of 14 people.
