The award-winning Mokoia Restaurant operates from Rotorua's Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort, offering diners relaxed fine dining atmosphere in a sumptuous setting.

The restaurant enjoys beautiful views over Lake Rotorua with a menu that concentrates on Pacific Rim Cuisine, working with indigenous spices and herbs to deliver dishes that reflect modern New Zealand culture.

Mokoia Restaurant has won the New Zealand Beef and Lamb Excellence Award for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for its beef and lamb dishes. The accaimed menu also features vegetarian and gluten free dishes. The a la carte fine dining dinner menu is also available as a 'shared dining experience' for two or more people.

The 'High Tea' menu option is a chance to enjoy tiered china cake stands, freshly baked scones with cream and jam, sandwiches, cakes and biscuits and sweet pastries. A selection of premium quality teas and coffees are also included.

Opening Hours:

Breakfast: Wednesday to Sunday 8.00am - 10.00am 
Dinner: Wednesday to Sunday 5.30 - 8.30pm (bookings essential)

Mokoia Restaurant is an ideal venue and catering option for smaller conferences, weddings and private group events. Conference packs include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea which feature Mokoia Restaurant's unique cuisine.
